Limited Edition Maison Lancôme Blush is Parisian perfection

Some makeup is simply to pretty to use, and where I to buy this it would sit on the shelf, only to be taken out when other hardcore makeup fiends came by, to be stroked, cooed over and NEVER ever used (unless I got two). The Maison Lancome Blush is part of the Lancome 29 St. Honore collection. and will retail for $48.

Not so long ago Twilight create a beauty range, so it’s not that ridic for True Blood to get it on the action. They have created a three piece range which consist of a blood red lip tint, a blood red cheek stain and a smokey looking palette.Tarte for True Blood Limited-Edition Natural Cheek Stain

Guerlain introduces Terra Inca collection

It’s a mere TWO days till the Terra Inca Guerlain collection launches and I’m excited. The four shade Indigo eyeshadow set looks amazing (£42), even though it will be hard to ruin the pretty design, and I really love the look of the sapphire blue shade. There will also be three cream shadows in  pale pink, bronze and copper . The Sublime Radiant powder for face and body will help you get a sunkissed glow and if the imagery is anything to go by, you’ll start wearing freaky blue contacts/ photoshopping a lot. I like the look of this- and am pleased they’ve gone the bold summer route rather than opting for muted pastels.

Bronze Goddess Estee Lauder Sea Star Bronzing Blush

The Estee Lauder nze Goddess Soleil Summer Colour 2011 Collection is a treat, with shimmering bronnzed shades and fabulous double ended eyeshadow pencils. The Sea Star Bronzing Blush is clearly the prime piece as it’s so stunning to look at and very flattering on the face. Available in four shades, you almost don’t want to blemish the blush by sweeping a brush against it, but teeth gritted I managed too. The colour goes all the way through and it’s lightly pigmented- enough that a sheer sweep adds a flush to the face and a thicker swipe gives you a lovely glow.

The golden pigments look great on the face, catching the light and adding a beautiful shimmer that’s  quite longlasting. The mirror is a great side and very usable, though an included brush would be handy for travel.

Overall, I’m impressed with the product, love the style and find it flattering for summer. Continue reading
