It may be wet and wintry outside, so I’m extra glad of this fresh new scent from Michael Kors. I’m a big fan of his seasonal Island range and this one promises to be equally exciting, with its blend of glamour and heady fruitiness. The perfume is a mix of pink grapefruit, tangerine and sweet orange- not unusual for a Kors scent, as he notoriously likes the softer notes. An addition of jasmine and rum give it a seductive edge whilst a warm coat of vanilla keeps it eminently sweet. I like the choice of green for the bottle as well, as it’s a colour I hope to see more of this season.
It will be £42 for 50ml, out later this month.
